Kalpavriksha Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the Android app Kalpavriksha: Goal Achiever (package com.pratap.kalpavriksha), developed by Mukku Pratap Reddy ("I", "me"), handles your information. In short: your goals, affirmations and photos stay on your phone. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising and payment services need.
1. Information stored only on your phone
- Goals and affirmations you write, target dates and the reasons you add.
- Images you add to a goal. When you pick an image with Android's photo picker, the app copies only that image into its private storage on your phone. It cannot see your other photos.
- Settings such as reminder times, chosen voice, speed and pitch, and which prompts you have unlocked.
This information is never uploaded to me or to any server. The app has no account or sign-up. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows optional rewarded ads, provided by Google AdMob, when you choose to unlock an SI master prompt. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, app interaction data, and crash and performance information. This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalised. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
3. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The one-time "Remove ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. I never see or store your payment details. The app only receives confirmation that the purchase was made, so it can switch off ads and restore the purchase on a new phone.
4. Text-to-speech
Affirmations are read aloud by the text-to-speech engine already installed on your phone (usually Speech Services by Google). Voices installed on your phone work offline. Some voices marked "needs internet" in the app may send the text being read to the engine's provider, under that provider's privacy policy.
5. Notifications
With your permission, the app shows two local reminders a day. They are scheduled on your phone; no data is sent anywhere to deliver them.
6. Gemini, ChatGPT and other AI services
The app gives you text prompts only and does not create images. If you choose to use a prompt in Gemini, ChatGPT or another service and upload your photo there, that photo is sent to that service under its own terms and privacy policy, not to Kalpavriksha. The app is not affiliated with Google, OpenAI or any AI service.
7. Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
- Delete any goal, affirmation or image inside the app at any time.
- Turn reminders off in the app's Settings or in your phone's notification settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your phone.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
